A mature jade gourd contains many seeds, symbolizing fertility and blessings. In ancient times, gourds were often given to newlyweds to wish them many children.

Marital Harmony

The round and full shape of the jade gourd symbolizes harmony in marriage. Wearing a jade gourd can promote marital harmony and also has the power to ward off evil spirits, as gourds are considered sacred objects in both Buddhism and Taoism.
